Martinique La Réunion Guyane

Manon holds a Master’s degree in Ecology, with a specialization in conservation biology and geographic information systems (GIS). She has developed extensive expertise in the study and conservation of marine turtles. She has contributed to several research projects aimed at improving knowledge of marine turtles’ spatial ecology and has been actively involved in monitoring their populations in the field. Her GIS skills have enabled her to create innovative tools for managing and analyzing marine megafauna census data.

With her versatile background and experience in mainland France, internationally, on Réunion Island, and in the Caribbean, she has both a global and local perspective on the challenges of marine turtle conservation. This approach allows her to adapt conservation strategies to the specificities of each territory and the stakeholders involved.

Although involved in several projects within the association, she is currently focused primarily on addressing the interactions between illegal fishing and turtles on the Guianas Shelf.
