Tyffen Read

Dr. Tyffen Read, an Australian–New Caledonian dual national, has been conducting research on marine turtles for over 15 years in both countries. She now works for the Southern Province, serving as Deputy Head of the Proximity Prevention and Technical Support Service (SPPAT), where she is specifically responsible for the teams of park rangers who handle, among other tasks, strandings of protected species. She has also begun working on the photo-identification of marine turtles feeding in New Caledonia.
